Rendering the Collective in the Circular City

“Rendering the Collective in the Circular City” is a research book presented in the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism 2019. The publication is included in the AUE / Madrid pavilion that G-dlF curated in the Biennale. G-dlF has also co-curated a topic of the Seoul Biennale about Productive Cities together with the cities of Brussels and Vienna. The book is a reflection about the new proximities in the post-industrial productive city and its impacts on a political, ecological, spatial, social and economic level.
The city of Madrid serves as a case-study, specifically the southeast area and the M45 highway. The research includes a reflection about the Spanish Urban Agenda 2019 (SUA/AUE 2019) which is a transversal urban guide to address the challenges of the Anthropocene age next years in Spain. The narrative is supported by an amazing documentary photography campaign by Davide Curatola (Urban Reports).
